Sun's Eye® Fragrance Oils

Sun's Eye® Fragrance Oils

Sun’s Eye is a metaphysical perfumery that uses scent to create atmosphere through intention. Our oils and sprays are more than just beautiful and enticing aromas; our blends are based on time-honored traditions that consider the energetic signature of the elements used to create the formula, such as the herbs, flowers, or stones. When using Sun’s Eye products, you not only invoke the energy related to the formula, but you also are subconsciously reminded of your intention and because the fragrances are so pleasing, the intention correlates with the enjoyment of the scent.

Sun’s Eye oils are petroleum-free, paraben-free, DBP and DEHP-free, as well as vegan—meaning no animal products or testing. They are highly concentrated blends of essential and fragrance oils, which are synthesized from a wide variety of ingredients, so a particular formula may not be 100% natural. With that being said, natural does not necessarily mean safer. For example, the essential oil Fig is not safe for body use, so perfumers have found other ingredients to synthesize the Fig fragrance while reaching a higher level of safety.

Because fragrance formulas are proprietary, the fragrance industry relies on the International Fragrance Association (IFRA), an organization committed to safe standards, to monitor the thousands of raw ingredients used in the fragrance industry. Our suppliers are members of IFRA and Sun’s Eye voluntarily complies with IFRA standards to ensure high quality and safe products. If staying away from synthetics is an absolute, you may want to choose oils that are 100% essential. We currently offer eight: Cedarwood, Clove, Eucalyptus, French Lavender, Lemongrass, Patchouly Dark and Rosemary, and are in the process of expanding this offering.

Although Sun’s Eye oils are body grade, they are highly concentrated and should be diluted for body use. Any carrier oil that would make a good massage oil can be used, such as Jojoba, Grapeseed, or Sweet Almond, just to name a few. Start with a few drops of your favorite Sun’s Eye oil and work up from there.
